The PS4 version should have exclusive content. I was gonna suggest a special cross-play mode (PC, PS4, OUYA!?), where all custom stages are disabled no matter what, computer-exclusive abilities like chatting are disabled (you could hook-up a keyboard to the PS4, but it doesn't need it, a computer almost literally NEEDS one, so it isn't helping your case), and maybe some other things, but it looks like cross-play is NOT happening. I would like a spectator mode, where you could join a server, just to watch what's happening, OH! Also I would like if spectators were able to chat in the chat room, but the host can disable that function in their rooms, or mute certain spectators.
Jet ducks pc update#
This would mean you would have to update to vanilla levels and include some in there, and/or you could make levels exclusively for them. Too many people get out of bounds on that ONE VANILLA LEVEL, where it is just a staring contest. I would like the out-of-bounds glitch to be removed. I would REALLY like a matchamking system, sort of like Broforce, where someone makes a server and you get to CHOOSE which one you go on.

You probably know all of my suggestions, but here it is anyway for convienience: So what do you want to see most in the update? I want this update to really bring the game to the final vision I had in my head of what Duck Game is supposed to be, and I hope this update can help partially make up for my lack of communication over the last year. I seriously can't thank you all enough and I don't know what to say. Thank you so much for being such a good community, for playing my game, and for keeping it alive. There are also a ton of major features being added but sadly I can't talk about them until I officially announce the update D:
Jet ducks pc code#
Those are just the things I can think of right now, so much has changed with the update that I'm going to have to scour through the code to get some real notes together. Lighting system has been improved so it doesn't look so bad, especially at level borders. Random level generation has been completely rewritten and is unrecognizable compared to the old system. Death Crates and Wires have been synchronized online. Chainsaw has been fixed to prevent user from killing themselves with it so easily (for example, you could slide kill someone before and their body might disarm you, then your own chainsaw would kill you. Sledge hammer has been fixed to prevent disarming the player who's using it. Hat creation will now be an official feature.
Jet ducks pc mods#
Workshop mods can now have preview images.

Host lobbies will automatically be closed after being idle for a few minutes, which should prevent tons of dead lobbies piling up. A short overview of a few issues I've already dealt with: New things can be features, or they can be issues that still haven't been dealt with which may have fallen off my radar. In the meantime, though, I have some time where I could add some additional stuff to the Duck Game update, and I thought it would be good to ask you guys what sort of stuff you want. It's almost done, the hope is that release will be late next month but I still can't announce an official date. Unfortunately I agreed to let a porting company deal with the port, and though they're doing a great job they've taken quite a bit longer than I would have liked. The reason it's been taking so long is my publisher wants to time the update to come out at the same time as the PS4 version, and the PS4 version has been taking foreverrrr. I'm posting this to officially say that the update *is* coming, and it's getting close to the point where I'll be opening it for beta testing. I've been working a ton on the Duck Game update, and a bit on some new games that I'll probably announce before too long. Hey everyone! I'd like to apologize for being so out of touch, I think it's probably been at least 6 months since I've posted anything here.
